Celou dobu jsem nevěděl, co je to za sochu, resp. kdo to je, mělo to nápis jenom "Mannerheim". Až teď v říjnu, kdy dodělávám další část těchto stránek jsem na Internetu našel, že je to jejich bejvalej hrdina, vojevůdce a president:

Keeping watch over Mannerheim Square is the equestrian statue of C.G.E. Mannerheim (1867-1951), a great national hero, military leader and President. The monument was unveiled by Urho Kekkonen, President of Finland 1956-81, in 1960.
